I was out with three of my best mates when it happened. We were puttering along this off the path road when we hit a ditch of some sorts and all of a sudden our puttering came to an abrupt stop. The old car wouldn’t budge and we reluctantly got outside of it. What I saw was my left rear tire laying inward like the Incredible Hulk had kicked it out. The axle had seen it’s last good axle turning day and we were in the need of a tow. Luckily one of my mates cell phone worked out there and we had a tow truck there in no time. I had the luxury of missing work today but my supervisor was not too keen on me being off. I told him I’d find a way in tomorrow. My car was out of commission at least for two more days, shops here in Brisbane are not known for their speedy repairs. I’ve been calling around to compare car hire companies trying to find the cheapest one I can find. I still have about five more to call and am hoping to find me one that is a lot cheaper then the quotes I’ve been given so far.
